What this estimate
counts—and skips.
Representative 15% referral category; Amazon has many category-specific tiers and minimums. Selling plan fee, FBA, storage, returns and optional services excluded.
The calculator separates the marketplace’s modeled fees from your own costs. Your payout is estimated from item price plus shipping charged, less modeled platform fees. Profit then subtracts item cost and shipping you pay. Sales tax collected and remitted by the marketplace is not treated as your revenue or profit.
For promotion, enter the percentage you expect to pay. It is applied to the sale amount in this estimate; actual advertising programs can use different fee bases and attribution rules.
